Question: How can I integrate a multi-site approach in an MES project?

MES implementation projects are undertaken by industrial players with the overall aim of improving performance. This position often makes it inevitable to have a multi-site vision of projects, which affects the design of the system, the conditions for rolling it out, its maintenance, etc.: the need for uniform modelling of industrial processes and procedures, consistency of supervision and reporting functions, industrialisation of application developments, etc.
This approach, which is quite recent in information systems that are close to the ground, forces MES to address the question of a project-based approach: the interest of a "core model" approach, project governance, industrialisation of developments, control of roll-out on site, control of upgrades over time, etc. These questions are all obviously closely related.
